Over 250 legal professionals, community members, families, and friends attended the twelfth annual “Celebrate with the Stars” awards dinner on April 9 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville to honor individuals who have made an impact on the Connecticut Legal Community.

On March 21, the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA), Connecticut Bar Foundation (CBF), the James W. Cooper Fellows of the CBF, and the University of Connecticut School of Law hosted the symposium Justice for All: The Present and Future Impact of Legal Aid in Connecticut at William F. Starr Hall on the UConn School of Law campus.

On April 2, CBA President James T. (Tim) Shearin and CBA Executive Director Lina Lee attended the 36th Annual Thurgood Marshall Award Ceremony, held at Quinnipiac University School of Law by the university's Black Law Students Association.

The Connecticut Bar Association has joined with our sister bar associations across the country and the American Bar Association to issue a statement expressing our collective support for the rule of law.
